Performance Feedback is a method of assessing the
performance of suppliers and purchasers and is carried out during or
following the execution of a contract or order. Performance Feedback
is recorded in a Report format, which incorporates a maximum of 15
critical business elements.
Performance Feedback Reports should be completed at intervals agreed between the two parties and over time the reports,
which are input into a supplier’s registration, display graphically an objective assessment of the levels of
performance achieved across the range of elements.
Types of Reports:
Supplier Performance - Report 1
Report 1 Feedbacks measure Supplier Performance during the provision of products and/or services to clients
Supplier Ongoing Performance – Report 2
Report 2 Feedbacks measure Ongoing Supplier Performance after that suppliers
products/equipment has been in operation at a clients site for a period of time
Purchaser Performance - Report 3
Report 3 Feedbacks measure Purchaser Performance and can be used to assess purchaser support to suppliers
Important Information!
FPAL must stress that a Performance Feedback Report is NOT a test resulting in a pass or fail.
The profiles are designed to represent your company’s overall performance and to allow either
party to mutually agree an acceptable standard of historical performance.
The FPAL Performance Feedback Profile should be used as a business development tool.
We encourage suppliers to use the objective and independent scores and benchmarks as a
marketing tool to assist in sourcing new business. A proven track record will put your
company ahead of your competitors.
In addition, with regards to new business, your FPAL performance feedback score is an
excellent marketing tool for your company to promote itself and expand into different markets
and countries.
